Aztec Mayhem is a fast-paced 2D Topdown-Shooter, like Enter the gungeon or Binding of Isaac, with the difference being that this one is about a... slime with a gun?!!?!??!??

Yeah, in this game, you're a slime with a witch hat and a gun (even though it doesnt make any sense!)

You're a little guy named Goober. Goober is a little silly slime that somehow got inside the temple of a aztec god that was considered deceased many years ago, and who was the aztec god? Quetzacoatl. The slime somehow got to talk  with Quetzacoatl, who was for some reason stuck in a statue of himself. Quetzacoatl then started to explain why he was trapped in that statue of himself. One day, he was chilling at his temple when he was attacked by some other lesser-known gods. They managed to beat him and trap him inside of that statue, and took his powers too! Quetzacoatl now needs help beating the crap out of every single god who took his powers, and he is counting on you to do this for him!

Now, its all in your hands to defeat those other gods, restore his powers and free him from that damn tomb, even though you wont get a prize...

GOOBER 

A little slime who was born from a drop of water inside Quetza's temple. Nobody knows his past, if he even has one. He is just a cutesy patootie, a little silly goofy guy, just give him a rest, man, dont ask him about foul questions like "How was he born?" or "What did he do on the night of May 18th 1998?" man!

QUETZALCOATL

He is a LITERAL GOD. Like, literally, he is one of the most powerful sentient beings in this world... or he at least was, before some other gods stole his powers. Actually, funny story: The other gods used masks, no one knows why, so Quetza just started to call them the "Mask Tribe"... what a stupid name, honestly.

THE MASK TRIBE

They are little brats, stupid gremlins and etc. The Mask Tribe consists of at least 6 gods, but there could be more. Nobody knows anything about them, because they were never seen before. Maybe they are actually gods, maybe not, maybe is just a little illusion on Quetzacoatl's mind, we will never know!

IMPORTANT: SO... it seems that the game sometimes tries to read an old save file from an older build, and this can cause some compatibility problems, which can break the game in weird ways.. There is no way of fixing this bug unless i re-code everything that involves the save file, so it will take a while. For now, if the game glitches out, just restart it, maybe its a bug caused by the game reading an old save file.
